Happy Arbor Day

Today is Arbor Day in the U.S. What a wonderful way to usher in the spring. Arbor Day of course is a day we celebrate the planting and care of trees.

Give a Bonsai Tree for Christmas

Arbor is Latin for tree. Arbor began in a huge way with one million trees being planted. On April 10, 1872 in Nebraska City, Nebraska USA, J.Sterling Morton, a Nebraska newspaper editor and soon to be Secretary of Agriculture under President, Grover Cleveland founded Arbor Day. Because we celebrate the care of bonsai trees everyday I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Arbor Day. Enjoy the day and your bonsai trees. We are going to plant a couple of blueberry bushes today. Lew
